1. Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you create an account or use the Services, we may collect:

• Account and authentication information (such as login identifiers)
• Photos and videos you upload for analysis ("User Content")
• Communications you send us

Payment information. When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card number — Stripe handles all card data directly under its own privacy practices. We receive only limited billing details such as your subscription status.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Services, we automatically collect basic usage and device data, such as your browser type, general device information, the analyses you run, and the sports you select.

We do not collect personal information from third parties.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account and authenticate you
• Provide the core Service — analyze your uploaded content and return results
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send transactional communications (login links, receipts, security notices)
• Maintain, secure, and improve the Services
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

We process your information only when we have a valid legal reason to do so, such as your consent, to perform our contract with you, to comply with the law, or for our legitimate business interests. We do not sell your personal information.

3. AI-Powered Analysis

Our Services use artificial intelligence to analyze the photos and videos you upload. This analysis is performed by third-party AI service providers. When you submit content for analysis, that content is shared with and processed by these providers solely to generate your results. We do not use your uploaded content to train our own AI models. Your use of AI features must comply with the applicable AI provider's terms.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only in these situations:

• Service providers. With trusted providers who help us operate the Services — including Stripe (payments), Supabase (database, authentication, and storage), our AI provider (analysis), and our email provider (transactional email). Each processes data only as needed to perform their function.
• Legal requirements. When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or others.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required.

We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising purposes.

5. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. When you close your account, we delete or de-identify your information, except where we must retain it to comply with legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time.

6. How We Keep Your Information Safe

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls through our infrastructure providers. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live — including residents of Texas and other U.S. states with privacy laws, as well as the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Canada — you may have rights to:

• Know whether we process your personal information and access it
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Obtain a copy of the information you provided
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

8. Children's Privacy

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us at hi@honecoach.app and we will delete it. If you upload content depicting a minor, you must have verifiable consent from that minor's parent or legal guardian.

9. Do-Not-Track

Most browsers offer a "Do-Not-Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no industry standard for responding to DNT signals, we do not currently respond to them. If a standard is adopted, we will update this policy.

10. International Users

We operate from the United States. If you use the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, may notify you directly or by a prominent notice on the Services.
